The Stylish Accountant

I have been out of school for over ten years.  Choosing a CPA review course is a daunting task.  I feel like I need to start from scratch with learning.  It's been difficult trying to find time for study outside of work and my kids' busy schedules, they're almost as busy as my own!  So, three weeks ago I did the most difficult thing I have done, and that was to resign from a Staff Accountant position in order to study for the CPA Exam. Fortunately, I was given the opportunity to work part-time from home. Who knew? Sometimes you gotta take that leap of faith and believe that it will all be alright.  Enough with the mushy stuff! My name is Lashonda Taylor, I am a wife and mother of three.  Welcome to my journey to become a CPA.  I am still in my thirties, so I feel like as long as I can pull this off before I am 40, I won't be one of those bitter old women who gave up on their dreams and blames their kids. It started out fine, I interned at a local CPA firm, got hired on and fell in love with Tax Law and Financial Statements. A few years later, I actually fell in love again, this time with a wonderful Man.
